Safety Data Sheets
As your partner in the rebar business, Byer Steel wants our valued customers to have access to our company’s updated *Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) that meet the OSHA revised standard requiring the use of new labeling elements and a standardized format.
Per the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), solid metallic products are generally classified as “articles” and do not constitute a hazardous material in solid form. However, some hazardous elements contained in these products can be emitted under certain processing conditions such as but not limited to: burning, cutting, sawing, brazing, grinding, machining, milling and welding.
Byer Steel wants to ensure that you, your employees, and customers have the available information needed to protect yourselves in the workplace, and stay in compliance with Federal and Local regulations.
For more information, please contact our office at 513.821.6400.
*Safety Data Sheets were formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs)
